far side armbar from the rubberguard

farside armbar from rubberguard bjj nogi instructionalAfter breaking down your opponent’s base, the knee is used to keep their posture broken down. Applying pressure with your elbow forces your opponent to react, by exposing his opposite side arm.

Attack the Armbar by swinging your leg out, and pushing your opponent’s head through the space. Emphasis on squeezing your knees together, and pointing your opponent’s “thumb to the sky” will limit his opportunities to counter the attack.
