The CFC ran a world class production.
Elite XC fighters Hector Lombard, and Kyle Noke both won their fights. TMTs Wade Henderson fought IFL vet Brian Ebersole, and Australian MMA icons Danny Higgins, T.Green, Elvis Sinosic, along with several other notables were in attendance.

Wade started his fight strong taking the center of the ring. Getting things started with a four punch combination, Wade forced Ebersole to defend the strikes before he could utilize his USA-Division 1 wrestling background. Taking Wade to the mat Ebersole landed in half guard. With Ebersole working strikes inside of the half guard Wade eventually regained his full guard. Brian used his experience to mix up the striking and used his GnP to set up a guard pass attempt. Working from Wade’s half guard again, Ebersole used a modification of the “D’arce AKA Brabo” choke for the submission.
Going into the fight Wade had a 12-4 MMA record, but most of his fights have been in lower level shows in his home country of South Africa, many of those fights have gone unaccounted towards his record, and Sherdog officially lists him with a professional record of 2-0. This fight was an opportunity to see where Wade matched up in the 185lbs division internationally.
Ebersole is listed on Sherdog with a 36-14 record, having fought in some of the “larger non-UFC” fight cards. (including; Shooto, Strikeforce, KOTC, IFL, and CFC) Brian also wrestled at a Division 1 wrestling school in the USA. (Biggest division for college wrestling)
The CFC took great care of Wade, giving him a salary comparable to most entry level UFC fights. The took care of his food, hotel, travel, and the event will be broadcast throughout Australia on the “Fox Sports” network.
Wade will grow from this defeat and is already training for his next fight. It will be a rematch of his only loss for TMT in Muay Thai. He will be looking to gain the Patong Muay Thai stadium championship belt with the win. Wade is also gearing up for a return MMA bout in South Africa this July.
