By defeating Husen Muhamaed, Jan Marsalek, and Paul Cowzer in the past year Steve McCombe earned a shot at World Ranked Bantamweight Paul McVeigh for the Cage Warriors Champinship Belt, July 12th in Nottingham England.  After a back and forth slugfest, the MMA Phuket veteran Steve McCombe fell victim to a slick rear-naked choke.  With the Loss Steve’s record falls to 7 wins, 4 loses. Even with this defeat McCombe showed why he is considered the top Bantamweight in Ireland.

Also featured on this fight card was the return of Europes top Welterweight Paul Daley, who made quick work of the previously unbeaten Bojan Kosednar.
