Giva has a professional MMA record of 11-0, and trains out of the No Limits training facility in Orange County California.

Fellow Lotus Club Black Belt Fabio Negao is scheduled to face former Olympic Wrestling Medalist Matt Lindland July 19th on the Affliction fight card. Other notables scheduled to appear on this fight card include Fedor Emelianenko, Tim Sylvia, Josh Barnett, Pedro Rizzo, and Babalu Sobral.
