While Dawtrang is new to Tiger Muay Thai he is no stranger to the sport of Muay Thai. A veteran of over 350 fights, Dawtrang is a former TV 3 champion with notable wins against legends; Saketdow Sor. Yupinda, Nuarphathaphee Tor. Anuson, and Kheawmorakod Phai Anan.
Returning to the ring after a brief retirement Dawtrang headlined a fight card for the new Kata Beach stadium against a young Thai fighter looking to build his resume.

female thai fighter fapratan scores 3rd round ko extending win streak to 6
Facing up and coming brawler Nong Anne, TMT’s favorite female Thai fight Fapratan mixed up her boxing to showcase her clenching skills.
Displaying strong knee techniques Fapratan scored a brutal body shot forcing her opponent to lay on the canvas until the ref stopped the fight. Fapratan has now won 6 straight fights.

kru ritt gets another body shot ko
Kru Ritt shows his left hook yet again! This time against veteran circuit fighter Nilsak at Patong Boxing Stadium. Ritt is one of the better boxers fighting Muay Thai on the island of Phuket.
Having won 3 of the larger championship belts in Northern Thailand Ritt is an accomplished fighter who trains many of the V.I.P. guest who train at TMT including Jon Fitch, Muhsin Corbbrey, and MMA Instructor Ray Elbe.

Nazee is a veteran fighter on the island of Phuket and accepts fights against larger foreigners looking to fight against a Thai regularly.
Nazee has faced “Mitchee” three straight years!
Mitchee vacations every year in Phuket and after losing to Nazee the past two years asked for another rematch during his annual trip back to the island.

european films star chantal wins patong women’s championship belt
Chantal Ughi is a film star turned Muay Thai fighter. Having formerly trained at Rawai Muay Thai Chantal felt she needed a change in order ton take her fighting to the next level.
Accepting a fight against a veteran Thai fighter with over 40 professional fights, Chantal cleverly uses her clench skills to win the fight in the late rounds.

lil robert lek extends winning streak to 5 fights
Lil’ Robert is a favorite around the TMT training facility. Working in the advanced ring Lil’ bert is one of the top requested trainers for private training sessions.
Showcasing his fighting skills Robert earns a quick 1st round KO against his Thai opponent. After a perfectly placed teep kick to the solar plexus, watch as ‘Bert finishes the match with heavy hands, causing his opponent to slump over in the corner.

chad hamzeh watches with pride as wife veranika wins first muay thai fight
We guess you could say fighting runs in the Hamzeh family household. Chad is a professional MMA veteran of over 10 fights. Looking to continue improving his striking Chad eventually convinced his wife that Thailand was the paradise they had been looking for.
Not wanting to sit on the sidelines while her husband prepares for an upcoming MMA fight in Russia, Veranika started training twice a day in the advanced Muay Thai ring. After several hard weeks of training Veranika faces of against Namphon, a veteran of 30+ Muay thai fights.

wiktor svensson stops thonpet using low kicks
Wiktor Svensson is a long term member of MMA Phuket and will be staying in Thailand for over a year. Originally from Sweden, Wiktor teaches grappling classes while competing in amateur MMA competitions.
Showing his standup ability Wiktor easily defeated Muay Thai veteran Thonpet as the main event at Patong Boxing Stadium. Wiktor has spent time training in the MMA program as well as the advanced Muay Thai ring.
Look for Wiktor to continue competing in Muay Thai as he prepares for a Nov. 11th Pro MMA fight in Russia.

australian bjj standout maryanne mullay competes in her first muay thai fight
Maryanne Mullay is a multiple time BJJ Mundial medalist with a reputation for being a grappling wizard. She came to Thailand looking to learn authentic Muay Thai for future MMA competition. Maryanne never trained standup prior to arriving at Tiger Muay Thai and spent 5 weeks focusing on her technique with Kru Nazee.
Facing a Thai opponent with a professional record of 1 win and 1 lose Maryanne trained hard for her bout. Easily outclassing her scared opponent Maryanne took home a disappointing first round victory. Looking to gain more from her ring experience Maryanne will be facing a more experienced Thai fighter during her next training trip with MMA Phuket.

kru bernueng sakhomsin beats farkrut at battle of the champions malaysia
Kru Bernueng showed why he is currently ranked #10 in the country of Thailand for Muay Thai.
Beating former Lumpinee champion Farkrut in Malaysia for the Battle of The Champions Malaysia fight card Bernueng added another Main Event victory to his already accomplished fighting resume.
Tiger Muay Thai is going to continue looking to send Bernueng to fight Internationally.

prathet returns to the ring with a devastating ko
Prathet, scores a 2nd round KO in his Muay Thai fight in Phuket, Thailand’s Bangla Stadium on August 29, 2008. Prathet returned to the ring after a 2+ month layoff.
Prathet has a professional boxing record of 14-2 with one of those loses coming to Boxing Sensation Michael Katsidis.

kru ritt wins pk-1 championship
Facing Khongtong of Bangkok, Ritt extends his winning streak to 8 consecutive wins. This fight was for the PK-1 Championship belt. Notable fighters in attendance included; K-1 Max champion Buakaw, UFC Vet Alan Belcher and ADCC Qualifying champion Tony Eduardo.
Since being recruited to Phuket from Bangkok, Ritt has made a name on the Island as one of the most feared punchers in his weight class.

tmt instructor bernueng sakhomsin beats 8x lumpinee champion ‘the emperor’ namsak noi yutthakarnkamtorn
Bernueng showed the island of Phuket why he is currently ranked 10th in the country of Thailand for Muay Thai by beating Muslim legend Namsak Noi at Bangla Stadium. Originally scheduled to fight a foreign fighter from Sinbi Muay Thai, Bernueng accepted Namsak Noi as a fight night replacement.
Having been an 8x Lumpinee champion with notable wins over legends Seanchai and Atachai, Namsak Noi is a difficult opponent to take on several hours notice. Looking to prove his place as one of the top fighters in Muay Thai, Bernueng outclassed Namsak Noi to win a lopsided 5 round judges decision.
Other impressive victories for Bernueng include; Jomthap Klang , Saengaha Sarakham, Yokkhaw Bor. Chor. Vo 2, and legend Big Ben Chor Praram 6.

kru gais protégée jonny betts remains undefeated
Jonny Betts showcased his future potential in his last bout against Lumpinee veteran Peteak. Dealing with the typical Thai promoter difficulties, Jonny was asked to accept the tough replacement fighter as a “fight day” substitute for his original Opponent. Jonny suffers a standing 8 count early in the first round, but is able to keep his composure.
Displaying Kru Gai’s teaching philosophy Jonny walked forward the entire 5 round war, utilizing his elbows and knees to eventually beat his Thai opponent on all three of the judges score cards. Look for Jonny to continue gaining experience as he continues to work towards his Bangkok Muay Thai, and International K-1 goals.

pan asian grappling champion jason saggo makes his muay thai debut
Jason Saggo recently submitted all 10 opponents he faced at the Pan Asian Grappling Games held in Manila, Philippines. Jason is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt under Marcus Soares and ultimately wants to compete professionally in Mixed Martial Arts.
After successfully winning a grappling championship, Jason wanted an opportunity to build his fight resume by adding a Professional Muay Thai fight to his list of accomplishments and experience.

Watch Noppadet compete on Bangkok Channel TV 7 as he competes for the North Thailand Championship March 30-31st 2008.
Noppadet is one of Tiger Muay Thai’s top instructors. He has two career wins against the Contender Asia champion Yodsenklai Fairtex, and is a favorite to win the tournament. Noppadet recently won the Bangla Stadium championship belt, easily defeating a Rawai Muy Thai fighter.

Manoon is a former Lumpinee Champion who was recruited by Tiger Muay Thai to move to Phuket and instruct the camp guest. With very few fighters at his caliber in the region, Rattanasak has a difficult time fighting locally. Watch as he destroys his opponent.

In his last Muay Thai fight, Wade suffered a difficult decision loss to 40 year old Former Lumpinee Champion Saenthorn. Looking to rebound from his disappointing performance Wade Henderson, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple belt under Ricardo Murgel worked hard in the Advanced Muay Thai ring in preparation for this fight.

kru don bets 40.000 baht and wins
Don is a hungry fighter who has started to quickly establish himself as a fighter to keep an eye out for. In Thailand, Muay Thai Stadiums are the only legal place where betting can occur. Feeling confident in his abilities against Veteran Thai fighter Singha, Kru Don placed a 40,000 baht (1,200 USD) bet for himself in this fight. This victory earned him the equivalence of an average Thai’s 6 month salary.

Ngoo recently fought MMA in Russia and China. Spending extra attention to his Submission Grappling Techniques he hasn’t had an opportunity to train properly for a Muay Thai bout. Accepting a fight against Muay Thai veteran Naddum on a couple weeks notice, Ray was the Main Event at Patong Boxing Stadium. Competing in his third professional Muay Thai bout he impressed the crowd with his ring presence and confidence.
Quickly demonstrating his kick power, it became obvious that Naddum was outmatched. Scoring the KO early in the second round Ray will look to step the competition up in his next bout.

Fighting in the historic Channel 7 Television stadium in Bangkok, Kru Robert faces Muay Thai legend Soren Monkongtong.
Soren a veteran of over 50 Muay Thai fights has faced notable fighters; Dzhabar “Genghis Khan” Askerov, Jomhod, and Orono Por MuangUbon. In a VERY close fight, Robert falls victim to a cut, and at the doctor’s request has the fight stopped late in the fourth round. Robert would love the opportunity for a rematch.

Moving to Thailand to train Full Time, Jonny has dedicated his life for the next year to obtain his personal goals in Muay Thai. Training under Kru Kay, Jonny has found himself a friend and mentor. Known as “The King of the Ring” Jomhod has faced some of the best fighters in the world, including; Ole Laursen, Buakaw, Ramon Dekkers, and Arslan. Having an amazing record of 250 + wins and only 28 losses Jomhod is literally a legend in Thailand.
Robert accepted this fight after a training camp in London where he prepared with the world famous London Shootfighter gym.

sao hin wins bangla stadium s-1 tournament
Sao Hin is a former WBA International World Boxing Champion. Focusing a majority of his training specifically on boxing he rarely gets a chance to compete in Muay Thai, however when the Bangla Stadium promoter promised him a place in the S-1 Tournament he couldn’t turn down the offer. Winning three fights in the same night (2 by KO) Sao Hin became the Tournament champion and took home a nice payday for his efforts.

Madeleine Vall from Halmstad Muay Thai in Sweden came to Phuket to prepare with Advanced Muay Thai instructor Kru Yod. Madeleine is an A-level fighter in her native country and is looking to continue building her fight experience by competing in Thailand. fight girls tv star miriam nakamoto wins world title
After completing her filming commitments for the Oxygen Network, Reality TV show “Fight Girls”, presented by Master Toddy, Miriam Nakamoto spent time training at Tiger Muay Thai in preparation for her World Title fight at the Queen’s Cup.
The Queen’s Cup is a Muay Thai event held in honor of the Queen of Thailand’s Birthday. It is held in the front lawn of the palace and is free to spectators.
A standing crowd of
about 200,000 people watch the event live, as every Thai television station broadcasts the event live to another 6 million spectators.
Miriam fought a tough Turkish Boxing champion who had been training at the Rompo gym in Bangkok.

ray elbe defeats veteran muay thai fighter bovi
Making his Muay Thai Debut against Muay Thai veteran (60+ Fights) Bovi, Ray displays great technical skills. Elbe worked with Kru Yod in preparation for this bout. Ray will continue to compete in Muay Thai. Tiger Muay Thai is looking to groom him slowly in preparation for an eventual Bangkok fight card.

Bas is a professional MMA fighter with a strong wrestilng/ Jiu Jitsu background. He came to Thailand to focus on his striking with an emphasis to MMA application. Fights between two foreigners are difficult to arrange because a majority of gyms targeting foreign guests don’t want to directly compete against rival training gyms, fearing a loss could affect camp attendance.
Knowing Bas was well trained and in great cardio conditioning we actively looked for an opponent with similar skills and size.
